Groundbreaking ceremony for the new Cteam campus in Ummendorf
With a ceremonial groundbreaking, the Cteam Group has officially kicked off construction of its new campus in Ummendorf. On an area of around 28,000 m², a future-oriented site is being created with around 200 modern workplaces, a training center including outdoor and indoor training facilities, as well as an extensive storage and logistics area with an attached parking garage. Planning for the construction project began as early as 2023. The overall project is divided into two construction phases: the first phase – warehouse, logistics and parking garage – has now been initiated, while the second phase with office and training areas will follow from mid-2026. Completion of the entire campus is planned for the end of 2027.
“With this campus, we are creating the conditions for a future-proof world of work that best combines both the needs of our employees and the requirements of our projects,” emphasized Helmut Locher, company founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Cteam SE, in his speech at the groundbreaking ceremony.
Heiko Graf, mayor of the municipality of Ummendorf, Michael Keller of Nething Generalplaner GmbH, as well as Christopher Nagel of Goldbeck GmbH, which is implementing the first construction phase, also praised the project and the collaboration to date in their speeches.
The architectural concept comes from the general planner Nething from Ulm and is based in its design on a special element: The building façade, in its design language, recalls the interior of a copper cable – a symbolically powerful connection to Cteam's corporate identity. The project's sustainable orientation is also being consistently implemented: greened roof surfaces and outdoor areas designed close to nature contribute to the overall ecological concept.
The implementation of the major project is in the hands of a dedicated project team within the Cteam Group, which is responsible for realizing the campus together with experienced external partners. With the new location, Cteam clearly commits itself to sustainable growth, continuous development, and modern, attractive working conditions for employees.
